  • Financial Data: Transaction records, budgets, savings goals, and recurring transactions you enter into the app
  • Location Information: Country or region you select during account setup
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the app, including features used and preferences
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app version

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Kash app services
  • Sync your data across devices
  • Generate personalized financial insights and recommendations using AI
  • Improve our app and develop new features
  • Send important service notifications

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase as our backend provider, which employs robust security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), encrypted data at rest, and row-level security policies. Your financial data is private and only accessible to you.

  • AI-Powered Insights: When you use the Smart Tips feature, transaction data (amounts and categories) is sent to Groq AI to generate personalized spending insights. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored by Groq.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Kash:

    SupabaseAuthentication, database, and secure data storage
    GoogleOptional account sign-in via Google OAuth
    AppleOptional account sign-in via Sign in with Apple
    GroqAI-powered spending analysis and financial insights

    These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data protection agreements. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

    6. Data Sharing

    We may share data only in the following circumstances:

    • With the service providers listed above, solely to operate the app
    • When required by law or to protect our rights
    • With your explicit consent

    7. Your Rights

    You have the right to:

    • Access your personal data
    • Correct inaccurate data
    • Export your data (available in Profile > Export Data)
    • Delete your account and all associated data (available in Profile > Delete Account)
    • Opt out of non-essential communications

    Account deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our servers, including transactions, categories, budgets, goals, and recurring transactions. This action cannot be undone.

    8. Children's Privacy

    Kash is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

    9. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
